Out of the Ordinary

For me, Fashion isn’t always about the lastest trends and styles. One of the most important things to me is feeling confident in what I’m wearing and also adding my own touch to the outfit. Sometimes I won’t like the outfit at all until I get to the final detail, then I step back and I laugh to myself “wow, that really came together, I was about to start all over”. 

This outfit was a real challenge because 1, polka dots aren’t the easiest to style and 2, Rust orange is such an odd color to pair. Layering is key when you have tricky patterns because it breaks up the design so it’s easier on the eyes. We paired our Mustard and Navy Polka Dot Top with our favorite Wine Velvet and Lace Bralette. My go to accessory is a hat; they can just take an outfit to a whole new level, kinda like the cherry on top of a sundae! And of course I wore this with our Frayed Bell Bottoms because those go with just about everything. 

Sometimes an outfit can surprise you, just work with what you’ve got and don’t be afraid to push colors and patterns to their limit!
